Help and contact
The questions people actually ask, and how to reach a person when the answers are not enough.
Write to us
Say which app you are using and on which phone, and if something went wrong, what you expected to happen instead.
Questions about your data go to the same address, and are answered within one month.
A forgotten password
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot your password?” and enter your email. If it has an account, a reset code is on its way. Enter the code in the app and choose a new password.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play, so that is where they are cancelled, not in the app and not on this site. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have already paid for runs to its end.
- Manage subscriptions on iPhone Or Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
- Manage subscriptions on Android Or the Play Store, then your profile, then Payments and subscriptions.
On a new phone, sign in with the same account and use “Restore purchases”. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own rules.
A lapsed subscription never deletes anything you measured.
Your data
The 4×4 app can export everything your account holds: Settings, then “Export my data”. For a copy of anything else, a correction, or a question about what we hold, write to the address above.
To delete your account, use the settings in the app, or the account deletion page, which works without installing anything.
What the apps keep, and why, is in the privacy policy.
If training does not feel right
Stop. The apps are training tools, not medical devices, and nothing they show is a diagnosis.
Talk to a doctor before starting a programme that asks for near-maximal effort, as the 4×4 does. The terms of use say more about what the apps are and are not.
